Dear Eagles View, I really want to thank you for all you have done for Daniel. Your team has always have been there for him and guided him for the last six months. He knew he could always come to anyone on the team to talk things through. The personal attention you have given has been outstanding, going above and beyond to help him reach his dream of becoming a dog handler. Always at the end of the phone for me with an immediate response. Daniel has really benefited from his stay at Eagles View. He is happy, healthy and strong now. It’s so lovely to see him smile again and excited about the future. He made new friends and has seen a whole different side to life. I don’t think anywhere else could have been more perfect for him. He tells me how good the food is and whenever I speak to him, he always seems to be doing something. When he came home for a few days he couldn’t wait to get back. I am so grateful to you and the team for the care you have given. I truly appreciate it. It has given me time to relax knowing he is safe and looked after even though he is thousands of miles away. Greetings, The four months I spent at Eagles View transformed my mind, body and soul. I received the tools to finally break free from my inhibitions, insecurities, guilt and shame. I learned how to process / handle emotions in a proper, healthy manner. This skill I never possessed on any level prior to my time at Eagles View. Through working the program, I gained confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, and the tools to know and love myself. I let go of my arrogant, manipulative, self- destructive ways. The change was profound and welcomed. I was finally seen, heard and understood for all that I am, in a non-judgmental manner. I was something I never thought I would experience in my lifetime. I was able to start the healing process shortly after my arrival. I was welcomed, accepted, and loved by this “odd little family”. I no longer had to hide from myself and others. Next, I began to let go and let God, my higher power, run the show through prayer and focusing on his will not my own. My way simply did not work. My best thinking had resulted in a life of misery, addiction, and suffering. The Eagles View community saved me from myself and my life. I will forever hold the Eagles View community near and dear to my heart. From the kitchen staff, groundskeepers, sisters, personal trainer, therapist, cleaning crew, administrative staff and the owners. I cannot sing their praises enough. This journey will be different for everyone. The amount of effort and dedication you put into the program will determine your outcome. Needless to say, my experience has had a profound impact on my life.

I am very pleased to write an extremely positive review of Eagle’s View Wellness Centre in Johannesburg. I had previously been using a different treatment centre in South Africa, where George Georgas had previously worked, when he left that facility, my experience of the treatment centre, was less favourable and so I have started admitting people to Eagle’s View. I do not admit anyone to places unless I have personally visited them, met with the staff, reviewed the facilities and also interviewed the therapeutic staff. I was impressed with the facility. They are not attempting to be a luxury treatment facility, and, indeed, this is not needed by the majority of patients. What they do offer is a comfortable level of accommodation with single rooms and excellent facilities. The staff are very personable and have a very positive attitude and the therapy programme is full and excellent for patients with straightforward or complex addiction problems. In addition to the formal therapies, there is an exciting array of weekend activities and I was extremely pleased to go on one of these, which was to visit a big cat IVF centre where I was able to walk with lions, something I never thought I would do in my lifetime. The fun activities help addiction patients realise that there are enjoyable aspects of life outside of addiction and very few other places will be able to offer this. One of the biggest selling points for Eagle’s View is the price point. I do not know of anywhere which is able to match their price point and, whilst offering a similar level of accommodation to the main London treatment centres, for UK patients it is less than a third of the price and so for my self-funding patients who do not have health insurance this is my first choice in terms of standards of treatment, accommodation and cost effectiveness. One of the first patients I sent to Eagle’s View was a patient who was a doctor himself with complex addiction problems in addition to physical health problems and they were able to manage this well coordinating with the local medical team at a local hospital. Both the patient and his parents, who are also doctors, were very impressed with Eagle's View and the helpful, personable nature especially of George Georgas who helped coordinate the admission process and facilitated the transfer. I have no hesitation in recommending Eagle's view to anyone and out of all the patients I have sent there to date none have had anything bad to say about it.
